We are thrilled to announce that our incredible founder, Dr Alicia Kennedy (Lissi), has been awarded a prestigious Churchill Fellowship to investigate the intersection of veterinary and social services.
The Churchill Fellowship is an opportunity unlike any other, giving recipients up to eight weeks to immerse themselves in international best practices, gathering firsthand experiences and knowledge from around the globe.
Through this Fellowship, Dr Lissi will will travel overseas to explore initiatives, best practices and research to enhance and scale the Cherished Pets model, bridge service gaps, and improve the lives of pets and their people to drive social change here in Australia.
Since its inception in 1965, the Churchill Trust has awarded over 4,700 Fellowships, each one a testament to Sir Winston Churchill’s belief that ordinary people can achieve extraordinary things.
